Cancers are natural nurturers. "This forward bend is calming to your nervous system," Barnett says, adding that the position is similar to how we once lived in the womb. Being on the ground is also calming when you're upset, as it provides a much-needed feeling of security.

Try it: Kneel on the floor and sit on your heels. Separate your knees so that they are aligned with your hips. Place your hands on the floor in front of you and lengthen your torso toward the floor, resting your head on the floor.
