Vanilla-Bourbon Cherries Recipes

Using a vegetable peeler, remove 2 strips zest from orange. In a pint jar, place zest, cherries and brown sugar. Stir, seal, and refrigerate overnight. Add vanilla extract and bourbon; stir well and seal. Cherries are ready to use immediately and will keep at room temperature for three months or in refrigerator indefinitely.
