The Drink for When You'd Rather Be Eating Cake
If you love healthy sweets but find that eating fruits (especially ones high in fructose, such as apples and pears) makes you gassy, this dessert-like smoothie might be just the thing. It combats the issue in two ways: First, it uses sweet potato
to give the drink a candy-like flavor without loads of sugar, which can be difficult to digest; and, second, it also includes kefir, which has probiotics that help maintain a healthy microbiome (aka good gut bacteria). There are also low-FODMAPs including carrot, banana and pineapple, plus a bit of whatever milk you'd like, such as almond, coconut or hemp.
