If there's one thing I've learned in a lifetime of battling with weight, it's that deprivation is not a happy sensation. Show me a diet that makes me feel like I'm going without, and I'll show you a diet that's not going to work. That's why I've never been a big fan of the D word. I like to eat what I like to eat.

On the road to my best body, I try to make room for the food I love. Which is why I'm such a big fan of... wait for it... cauli-potatoes.

They couldn't be simpler to make: Just boil a head of cauliflower and one potato until they're tender; then mash them with some chopped chives, onion, garlic, and rosemary. You end up with four servings of absolute deliciousness. Tastes like real mashed potatoes—with cauliflower's terrific health benefits. I could whip up some right now!
