Here’s a winning Super Bowl snack: Ashton Epps Swank, author of Party Popcorn, combines two beloved flavors—Buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing—and tosses them with popcorn for a tangy, super-addictive treat.


  • ½ cup popcorn kernels or 2 (3.5-ounce) bags of microwave popcorn
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. ranch seasoning or half of a 1-ounce envelope of ranch dressing mix
  • 1 tsp. salt


    Total time: 55 minutes

    Pop popcorn. You should end up with about 8 cups. Pour into a large bowl and remove unpopped kernels. In a small bowl, mix butter and Buffalo wing sauce. Drizzle over popcorn and gently toss to coat. Sprinkle ranch seasoning or dressing mix and salt over popcorn and gently toss to coat. Serve immediately.
