Raw cabbage is a great source of vitamin C and, like other cruciferous vegetables, contains potent cancer-fighting phytonutrients. Feel free to adjust the spice to your tastes.
Servings: Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 oranges , peeled and sectioned
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Directions
    Toss all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Let sit at room temperature for at least 5 minutes or in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before serving.
