Sweet peaches and tangy ginger take on tequila and create a lip-smackingly delicious frozen drink!
Servings: Makes 8 generous margaritas
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces fresh peach puree or frozen peaches pureed
  • 4 ounces ginger syrup
  • 2 ounces lime juice
  • 6 ounces peach or nectar juice
  • 8 ounces tequila
  • 4 ounces cointreau
  • 4 lime wedges
  • Colored sugars and lime and candied ginger and peach wedges for garnish
  • Directions
    Place pureed peaches, ginger syrup, lime juice and peach juice or nectar in a blender and mix together. Pour the mixture into a bowl and place in the freezer. When ready to serve, add the alcohol. Combine well, pour into glasses, garnish and serve.

    You can also place the mixture into an ice cream maker and make a lot for a party. With this method, the mixture stays frozen longer and has a better consistency.
