Food for Thought
If you want me to eat something I normally wouldn't, make sure it's caramelized. That's how the Hearst cafeteria persuaded me to try its spinach wrap: creamy feta, cherry pepper relish, romaine lettuce, and—wait for it—caramelized cauliflower. My verdict: fantastic! The one downside is that the scrumptious wrap, expertly made by Betty Reyes, is available only every other Thursday. But if you follow the recipe at oprah.com/gaylesrecipes, you can enjoy it whenever you like. Thanks, Betty!

Class Act
When Bette Midler announced she'd be starring in the Broadway revival of Hello, Dolly! (curtain up on April 20), theater fans rejoiced; everyone is ready for Bette's return to the stage. The Grammy winner will play feisty matchmaker Dolly Levi, who's set her own sights on a half-a-millionaire. Speaking of big bucks, the show took in a record-breaking $9 million+ the day tickets went on sale. That's a lot to live up to, but for the Divine Miss M., I bet it's no sweat.

Baller Alert
I love seeing happy couples work, play, and—in one special case—tour together. That’s why I’ll be front and center for country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill when their Soul2Soul World Tour kicks off April 7. Their duets and solo hits are in regular rotation on my iPod, but this will be my first time seeing them in concert. I just hope their eldest daughter, Gracie, joins them for a song, as she did on her dad's most recent album. If there's one thing I love even more than a happy couple, it's a happy family.

Show Time
What happens when a black cop's shooting of an unarmed white college student causes immediate outrage—while a black teen's murder is overlooked? That's the question at the heart of Fox's explosive new show, Shots Fired. I was drawn to the timely drama, which takes place in a small yet hugely divided North Carolina town, because its characters are having the same hard conversations we’re having in real life. How does the series address its fiery central question? You'll have to tune in March 22 to find out.

Totes Awesome
Every day I carry a tote bag crammed with newspapers, books, and months-old travel itineraries. So when the handles on my old one broke, I was desperate for a sturdy replacement. Then the folks at Quilted Koala sent me one of their East-West bags, and the search was over. Mine is made of dark denim (which Adam Glassman says is very on trend) with a bright yellow monogrammed G (which I say is always in). ($164; QuiltedKoala.com)
