These classy young musicians bring a gentlemanly brand of sexy back.
Jamie Cullum
The British pianist's eclectic latest, The Pursuit (Verve), features impish spins on Cole Porter ("Just One of Those Things"), Rihanna ("Don't Stop the Music"), and even Sweeney Todd, plus originals such as the Coldplay-esque "Wheels."

Daniel Merriweather
This Australian's smoldering voice is perfectly suited to the vintage-soul flourishes of Love & War (J Records). Standout songs include the soaring "Red" (You took something perfect and painted it red) and "Water and a Flame," a pensive duet with Grammy winner Adele.

Findlay Brown
While laid up with a shattered leg after a car accident, the Yorkshire-born Brown immersed himself in early-'60s pop. His influences are rich and clear on Love Will Find You (Verve), from the Roy Orbison shimmy of the title track to the Wall of Sound–style ballad "Everybody Needs Love."
