Besides being one of the most romantic films of all time, it's perhaps one of the sexiest. Remember when Leo sketched Kate naked? Or when they fogged up the car? Swoon.
The Notebook
Based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook jumps between a young couple's steamy-but-stormy 1940s romance and an elderly husband and wife struggling to stay together in a modern-day nursing home. The chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams' has us hot-and-bothered from the get-go. We won't give too much away, but trust us when we say keep the tissues, and a fan, nearby.
9 1/2 Weeks
Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger heat up this thriller about the volatile affair between a Wall Street businessman and a freshly divorced art gallery associate. It's as close to erotica as a 1980s wide-release film gets, and the kitchen scene—serious foreplay involving a jar of honey—will assure you never look at your refrigerator the same again.
Dirty Dancing
It's the film that inducted
Patrick Swayze into the sex symbol hall of fame—he's the only man to grace this list twice—though we can't pinpoint at exactly which moment he stole our hearts. Was it the first time Johnny took his shirt off? Or declaring that "Nobody puts Baby in the corner"? Or, of course, the lift? Perhaps it's time to go watch it again...

Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore prove that true love is other-worldly in this romance about a spirit who protects the woman he was supposed to marry. Featuring—once again—a perfectly shirtless Swayze, the late-night rendezvous around the pottery wheel is perhaps the sexiest scene in cinema history. Amazing how hot a little clay can be.

The best onscreen chemistry can't be faked, and the spark between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie—or Brangelina, as they came to be known—was a scorcher from the movie's first five minutes. As married assassins trying to kill each other, John and Jane embark on a cat-and-mouse chase that gets pretty heated. As does their unforgettable tango that doubles as a pat-down.

It's best known for a boxer-and-sunglasses-clad Tom Cruise sliding through the living room, but
Risky Business ranks up there in the steamy movie department for the college-bound character's super-hot affair—most memorably on Chicago's el train—with a call girl played by Rebecca De Mornay.
