NEW YORK — The Dr. Oz Show, hosted by the popular and trusted health expert Dr. Mehmet Oz, today revealed some members of  “Core Team Oz,” its group of key guest contributors for its premiere season. Tim Gunn, fashion and style expert from Project Runway, fitness specialist and The Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper and former NFL player Eddie George and his wife Taj of Survivor, will appear in multiple segments throughout the first season of The Dr. Oz Show. Each contributor will provide inspiration, encouragement and advice in each of their areas of expertise. The Dr. Oz Show is an hour-long, daily syndicated series that premieres on September 14.  It is co-produced by Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and distributed by SPT.

Gunn is the chief creative officer of Liz Claiborne Inc., mentor and co-host of the popular fashion reality series Project Runway and Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style.  Gunn will bring his fashion expertise and words of encouragement as he works with real people to help them feel their most beautiful and stylish, inside and out. 

As a trainer for the inspirational weight loss reality series The Biggest Loser, Bob Harper is one of the leading fitness experts in the country.  With his trademark brand of fitness and nutritional integration that leads to lasting lifestyle transformations, Harper will help motivate and enrich viewer’s lives, nutritionally, emotionally and physically.
