The Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota is one of the poorest in our country. About 30,000 people live on this vast open land about the size of Connecticut. They are the Lakota tribe and they are proud, loyal and trusting people, but their lives are a reality too many of us never see.

Residents of Pine Ridge featured in the documentary Homeland give you a glimpse into present day life on the Reservation.
