Peter says back in his home country of Australia, the indigenous Aboriginal community has no concept of owning land because they believe that the earth is their mother. Peter says this environmentally enlightened way of looking at our planet is a perspective we could all benefit from. "How different it would be if we looked at the earth as our mother," he says. "Do you treat the planet with the same love, care, respect and honor that you treat your mother?"

Peter says everyone needs to do their part to clean up our planet, and he shares two steps he's taking today:

• Peter will no longer consume plastic bottled water.
• He will no longer use environmentally unfriendly cleaning products in his home.
