Huw Cordey, Jonny Keeling and Vanessa Berlowitz are three of the producers who worked on Planet Earth. For them, being a part of the process was an honor. "It's an enormous privilege, really, because I think we all feel it's probably one of the biggest productions we'll ever work on," Huw says. "The scale and the ambition of the series is immense." The creators had some special equipment at their disposal that let them go where no one has filmed before. To capture the long distance drama in extraordinary detail, the helicopter crew used a camera called a Cineflex heligimble. It allowed them to be nearly a mile above their target and still get amazing close-ups. |
