From Ants to Elephants

One of the amazing pieces of footage the Planet Earth team captured is a mother polar bear emerging from her den. After spending the entire winter with no food, the polar bear is half her body weight. As she emerges, she trades cramped inactivity for a ride in the snow. Following close behind, her cubs come out, too. Born deaf and blind, they're ready for their first baby steps.
