A fan in Chicago asks Sara Ramirez, who plays Dr. Callie Torres, how she got up the nerve to do one particular scene…the one where she had to dance in her underwear!
"Girl, it was not easy at first. I was definitely self-conscious," she says. "Shonda Rimes and Betsy Beers make it a point to show up and support us when we have 'nekkid' scenes. I went up to Shonda and said, 'There is so much cottage cheese up in here.' And she said, 'Work it.' She was very supportive and forced me to get over my issues."
