Before Arnold Schwarzenegger announced his decision to run for governor of California, many people speculated that his wife Maria Shriver didn't want him to run. Did she?

"I didn't... I had grown up in politics, so I knew what was involved in a political campaign. The more I talked to Arnold and found out about his passion, and the more I understood that this was something he really believed in...I said, 'I'm not going to stand in your way. You have to do what you need to do.' He'd always been that supportive with me; he'd always said, 'Follow your dreams. Do what you need to do and I'll support you.' I wanted to give him back what he had given me. So in the end I said, 'Go. Go with your heart, go with your passion.'
