Many stores, even consignment and thrift shops, have sales twice a year. You can find lots of items for under $10.
One of Joanne's staples for her kids is white sneakers—keep them looking new with white shoe polish. It won't cake off, and their shoes will look brand new!
Kids R Us is one of Joanne's favorite spots for great bargains on clothes, as is bidding for items on eBay!

Shopping for Free
Joanne has made money from her savvy shopping—enough to refurnish her bedroom!
When kids grow out of their clothes, sell them back to consignment stores and get about 1/2 back for what you paid.
