Follow-Up
Andy Williams remains in juvenile lock-up while attorneys argue over whether the 15-year-old should be tried as a juvenile or an adult. No trial date has been set.

Oprah and Jeff Williams Andy's father, Jeff Williams, joined Oprah via satellite.

Jeff received a phone call from the high school on March 5th, 2001, explaining that there had been a shooting. He ran over to the school expecting his son to either be shot or not be there at all. What he didn't expect was to find out that his son was the shooter. According to Jeff, Andy had been skipping classes and as a result doing poorly in school. Jeff says he spoke to the high school as recently as a week before the shooting about his son's attendance. After the shooting occurred, he heard from other students that Andy had been bullied by classmates at school.

Jeff feels sorry for the victims' families and says, "When I went to work that morning [March 5th] at 6 o'clock, my Andy was still in bed, and 3 and 1/2 hours later, that was not my Andy that I've known for his 15 years."
