One
way a child deals with being teased at school is to
go and pick on another - like younger siblings. Dr.
Shure helped two of our young guests get along better
by doing the following exercise.
Have
both children present when asking the questions so that
they both hear what they other is feeling and saying.
Ask:
To the child being picked on
What
is upsetting you?
How
does it make you feel?
Why
do you feel that way?
Getting
along with siblings
To
the child being mean
How
does it feel to hurt someone?
Can
you think of a different way to deal with them?
