Beauty editors do certain things twice a year without fail—change our clocks, pack away last season's clothes, and stare down a table strewn with new makeup collections. This time, after we cut through the clutter, a Best in Show and 12 others were left standing. Some blaze new trails, others are clever tweaks of old ideas, and a few are just, well, really pretty. We were so impressed, we're handing out our First Annual Makeup O-wards. As you'll see, the winners have kept their acceptance speeches becomingly brief.
