The Trend: That '70s Style
Big waves feel updated with a not-too-strict middle part and glossy finish.

1. If your hair is straight, loosely wrap two-inch sections around a medium-sized curling iron. If your hair is textured, use large hot rollers to smooth the hair, then work the curling iron.

2. Create a center part, but let a few hairs fall to either side for an easy, casual look.

3. Use a couple of drops of lightweight shine serum to smooth flyaways.
