Q: I love hair accessories. Are there any that won't make me look juvenile?
A: Sure, if you don't try to channel Blair Waldorf, Gossip Girl' s headband queen. My advice:

Keep styles sleek. Try a chopstick in a bun, a barrette or elastic on a low ponytail, or a narrow band on hair of any length.

Avoid girly elements (hearts, bows, pastels). Touches of sparkle are okay if you choose a modern shape.

Don't exaggerate. Nothing that sticks out or up!

Stay neutral. You want to blend with or echo your haircolor.
