Flying Colors
Captured! The aqua water, pink and white sands, and cerulean blue sky of a perfect summer holiday—find them all in the Dior 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow palette in Swimming Pool ($60; Dior.com). Wear a wash of one shade over your lids, or with a wet, fine-pointed brush, use the vivid aqua or blue as a liner. Either way, you'll be celebrating the summer with distinction.

Hair Repair
If you're lucky enough to feed your soul at the beach or pool this summer, remember to nourish your hair, too. One of the newest ways to do that: Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Total Care Nourishing Shampoo and Daily Conditioner ($6 each; drugstores). Both shampoo and conditioner are formulated with sunflower, almond, soybean, and coconut oils, and aloe vera to help restore moisture to the hair and scalp.

Breezy, Beautiful Lipsticks
Our perfect-summer-lipstick checklist: Bright but sheer color. Sun protection. Subtle sheen. This year Fresh Sugar Coral Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 ($23; fresh.com) and Bobbi Brown Treatment Lip Shine ($23; bobbibrown.com) are three for three. The Fresh balm is tinted a juicy berry that makes even the palest complexions look a bit sun-kissed. The Bobbi Brown bullets now come in a crisp coral (Peach Sorbet) and soft rose (Orchid Pink) that are polished without being fussy. Both products have SPF 15. We'll wear them down to a nub by Labor Day.

Vicarious Pleasure
Usually when I read that a makeup artist got her inspiration from an exotic destination, I think, crankily, "Nice for you!" But imagining the shy, humble, hardworking (and wildly successful) makeup artist Gucci Westman taking a break on the beaches of St. Tropez with her handsome husband and two young children makes me happy, somehow. So does Westman's new St. Tropez–inspired Escapism collection for Revlon. I especially love the nail polish shade Sheer Sea Foam ($5; drugstores)—a delicate blue-green as fresh and summery as a late June afternoon.

Pencil It In
Till I became a beauty editor, I had no idea how dramatically well-shaped eyebrows could improve a look. And one of the first people to introduce me to shapely brows was Sania Vucetaj, owner of Sania's Brow Bar in New York City. Sania recently created her own brow pencil (available in light, medium, and dark)—with an angled tip to make it easy for you to fill in your brows even if you're not the expert she is ($25; saniasbrowbar.com).
