What it is: A rotating hot barrel and brush combo that dries, straightens, and curls hair. How it works: Skip the hair dryer and instead clamp a 2-inch section of towel-dried hair (as close to the roots as possible) between the brush and the barrel (with the brush side on top). Slowly slide the styler to the ends of your hair; the barrel will rotate until you release the clamp. To get straight hair, repeat on the same section until your hair is dry. To curl, wrap hair around the barrel, clamp down, and release after a few seconds. Repeat the process in two-inch sections through the rest of your hair.
