Q: I'm petite. Is it okay to wear a maxidress?
A: To be honest, this isn't an easy trend for short women to pull off—all that cloth can overwhelm you. There's a fine line between a chic maxi and a schmatte. What's key: definition on top (Empire styles are good for making legs seem longer) and controlled volume on the bottom (no tiers or tents: plain hems are simpler to shorten). Stick to solids or small prints. If you like heels for extra height, pick wedges, not stilettos (cheesy looking!).
