Instead of going granny (as seen previously), try a bump-free pony that won't look frozen in time. To get a smooth finish like the models at Akris (at left), follow these simple steps: 1. Apply a pomade or spray wax, like Redken Wax Blast 10, all over to tame flyaways. (If you have natural waves, use a flatiron from roots to ends first.) 2. Create a deep side part with a fine-tooth comb and pull hair into a low pony at the nape of your neck. Secure with an elastic. 3. Finish with hairspray for extra hold and shine. |
