Eyebrows
How to get a perfect pair of brows, from O's guide to gorgeous eyes.
Do: Invest in a visit to an eyebrow expert for an initial shaping.

Don't: Tweeze hairs above your brows at home; pluck only stray hairs below. This will help maintain the shape.

Do: Use slant-tipped tweezers because they're best for grasping tiny brow hairs.

Do: Fill in brows with pencil or powder one shade lighter than your haircolor. Taupe works well with most shades, but if your hair is very dark brown or black, choose a pewter pencil, says Sania Vucetaj, owner of Sania's Brow Bar in New York City.

Don't: Use black pencil, unless your hair and skin are very dark.

Do: Use brow gel to tame unruliness; to ensure you don't apply too much, always scrape the brush against the opening of the tube before applying.

Do: Use pencil (or powder) to cover white hairs; plucking results in sparse brows.
