A pale green blazer (Diane von Furstenberg, $425) and rosy pants (3.1 Phillip Lim, $475) look anything but preppy when accessorized with an edgy periwinkle blue Inge Christopher clutch and Brian Atwood stilettos. "I love these color combinations," says Lindvall, who designs Angela by John Hardy—a jewelry line inspired by her travels to Bali and Thailand—for QVC.

Shirt, Rag & Bone, available as a dress, $415, Neiman Marcus; 800-365-7989. Sunglasses, Dolce & Gabbana; $360. Necklace, Pono by Joan Goodman, $215; 203-340-0764. Ring, Dara Ettinger, $105; 718-875-3272. Cuff, Elsa Peretti, Tiffany & Co., $825. Belt, Ann Taylor, $30. Watch, DKNY, $115.

Tip: Wear colors of the same intensity, i.e., don't mix brights with pales. Accessorize with neutral or metallic pieces—but stay away from black, which is too harsh for these looks.
