The Leather Look: How to Wear Coated DenimLove the look of leather but not the price? Try these jeans for work and play.

Take a Shine to These JeansCoated denim is not the place for neon brights—deeper colors and neutrals are more versatile. As for silhouettes, bootcut, straight-leg, and skinny styles are most flattering.
Adam Says:Pair coated denim with your usual work separates: a blazer, dressy blouse, or sweater set. For evening, play up the subtle shine of the jeans by wearing them with a sparkly top and shoes. The coating on denim jeans makes them less stretchy than the regular kind, so stay true to size when buying. Top: 901 Coated Legging in Teal, J Brand, $216, Saks Fifth Avenue, 877-612-7257.
