Conceal: Jackets that are tailored to hit at your waist and have wide shoulders will balance large hips. As with concealing your butt, wearing A-line skirts and dresses is your best option. Avoid wearing cargo pants or pants with large side pockets, as this will add bulk to your problem area. Reveal: Pants with side pockets or pocket detailing add curves to straight hips. A trumpet skirt will flatter by fitting snuggly through the hips then flaring out at the knee. |
