Estee Lauer Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick
Start the new year off right with a hit of lip luxury. Estée Lauder Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick ($19.50) gives you terrific mileage all around: denser, more intense, lasting color; longer and richer moisturization; and luscious shine. (It's the perfect combination of a classic, womanly lipstick and a modern gloss.) The range of shades includes 24 colors in pink-berries, mauve-plums, nude-browns, and coral-reds; the gold fluted case has a precision closure, so it snaps shut with a satisfying little thud. If lipsticks were cars, this one would be a Rolls.
Beauty Pick: Diptyque perfume

Diptyque Eaux de Toilette Universe
Maybe it was O beauty editor Jessica's puritanical upbringing, but she's always dabbed on her one rarefied, expensive Diptyque perfume with a careful hand before setting the heavy bottle back on her dresser like a precious artifact. No longer! Today, for a little more than the price of one fancy fragrance, she can have a quartet of them. Diptyque Eaux de Toilette Universe ($90)—four mini, sheer scents like the tuberose-based Do Son and fig-laced Philosykos—can be casually tossed in a purse, changed up daily, and indulged in with Marie Antoinette–like abandon. Use them and feel like a queen.
Beauty Pick: Nude Skincare

Nude Skincare
Like a celebrity turned environmental activist, Nude Skincare doesn't coast on its sexy name and appearance: The eco-conscious line uses organic and fair-trade ingredients whenever possible, and the brand works with Bureau Veritas, an organization that ensures Nude's manufacturing sites are safe, clean, humane places to work. While this information probably makes you feel good about the company, Nude's silky lip balm, Nude Lips ($14), radiance-boosting Miracle Mask ($70), and incredibly fine Facial Scrub ($52) will definitely make you feel good about your face.
Beauty Pick: Kerastase Resistance

Kérastase Ciment Thermique
We know, we know: Using flatirons and blow-dryers can weaken and dehydrate your hair—though we think walking around with a head full of frizz or a stunner of a cowlick is even worse. Which is why we refuse to put down the heat. But we've found an antidote: Kérastase Ciment Thermique ($34). Work a dollop of this conditioning treatment through hair to prevent breakage, smooth the cuticle (the hair's outer layer), and add shine. While our values may not be perfect, at least now our hair is.
Beauty Pick: Anatomicals Help the Paw

Anatomicals Help the Paw
December ran us ragged: Doing errands in the bitter cold, Scotch-taping presents, and scouring turkey platters left us with a case of very chapped hands. Thankfully, we discovered Anatomicals Help the Paw ($14). Fresh from England, this cream is enriched with vitamin E and sweet almond oil. It leaves skin silky (not greasy), absorbs quickly (so you can get on with whatever you were doing), and doesn't have an overpowering fragrance—meaning it won't mask your favorite perfume.
