Give your eyes a lift

Makeup pros agree that the combination of a lash curler and mascara is the simplest, most surefire eye-opener. Get the curler as close to the lashline as possible for maximum upturn, says makeup artist Kimara Ahnert. Set the curl, and lengthen lashes, with a couple of coats of mascara.
