but a recent trip to Canyon Ranch in Massachusetts changed that. After a four-mile hike with my daughter and sisters along the Appalachian Trail, the staff at the ranch gave us their special Pumpkin Crunch with some string cheese. I'm not sure if it was the salty pumpkin seeds or the sweet cranberries, but I was hooked and wanted to share the recipe.
