Q: I have been unemployed and seeking a new career for eight months now, and even though I have had many good interviews, I am not securing a final offer. I am quite perplexed and now just scared that I may lose my home, run through my savings. I pray, and others do for me as well, but nothing is happening. What is the best method of prayer for finding the right career?

I did a "God and Career" seminar recently in Los Angeles, so please check my website for the audiotape. I would like to give it to you as a gift, so please contact my office and ask them to send it to you.
In God, there is no lack and no recession. There is not a job "out there" for you so much as there is a divine mission deep within you that is seeking to express itself. Pray that all barriers to your highest creativity be removed, and ask to be guided to a place where you can be of greatest service. You might not have a worldly job quite yet, but you have a permanent career as a servant of God. It was given you on the day you were born and it cannot be taken away. Place all your worries, all your bills and both your past and future in the hands of God. Ask for a miracle. I am praying for one for you now.
