Create a Back to School Backpack
Being a mother of 3 daughters I have been given my share of back to school lists of must haves for my girls.  Honestly it is a chore and an expensive one to boot.  Every fall I walk out of an office supply store or a department store spending what I consider alot of money prepping for back to school.  I am fortunate enough to be able to do so,  but for many families this is a finacial burden.  Especially if there is more than one child in the household.  Statistics show if a child feels prepared and confident about their abilities they are more likely to do well in school.

If you are able to give back back by donating supplies to schools or organizations that are holding drives,  please make an effort.  It truly makes an impact on a students self esteem,  and makes going back to school a positive experience.  My friend Jessica did a fundraiser last fall in Lynn,  Massachusetts where I grew up,  I eagerly solicited donations from friemds and co-workers to get me donations,  backpacks, pens, pencils, erasers and other necessities that a student may  need to feel successful to start out the new year.  I was so happy that everyone was receptive and willing to help.

Make a difference help build a backpack for a child,  it can ABSOLUTELY change their future.

MAKE EVERY MONDAY MATTER
