Workbook
Life coach Cheryl Richardson suggests answering these questions to get you on the road to coping with the tragedy in your life.
  1. Make room in your life for healing.
What support do I need right now to help me deal with my situation?
  2. Attach meaning to the tragedy.
How can I make this tragedy a defining moment in my life?
  3. Reclaim your power.
How will I use this tragedy to make me a better person?
Journal Exercise
Revisiting a favorite memory can be a wonderful way to soothe yourself during a difficult or challenging time. When the chips are down, and you're feeling lonely or sad, having a special memory in your "self-care kit" can make a world of difference.

Remember a special moment, then write it in your journal, and even share it with others. It might make a world of difference.
