Tulum is a Mayan settlement that flourished from 1200 A.D. until the arrival of the Spanish. The Tulum ruins are the third-most-visited archaeological site in Mexico after Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza. It is located just 120 kilometers south of the popular beach resort of Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula. I took this picture as I stood on a cliff overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Are you a good photographer? Show us your favorite photos of spring |
