4. Tulum, Mexico
Tulum is a Mayan settlement that flourished from 1200 A.D. until the arrival of the Spanish. The Tulum ruins are the third-most-visited archaeological site in Mexico after Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza. It is located just 120 kilometers south of the popular beach resort of Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula. I took this picture as I stood on a cliff overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.Are you a good photographer? Show us your favorite photos of spring

On a beautiful sunny morning this past Easter, I walked through the woods to the pond. There were geese, buds, the sun—and then there was this strikingly beautiful tree. I forgot about everything else and enjoyed it.Ready for spring? Show us your best pictures

I remember the silly song about birds of paradise by Little Jimmy Dickens, but I had never seen the actual flower until a recent visit to the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California. It's amazing how vibrant, beautiful and birdlike they really are, but I would not want one to go up my nose! What's your favorite place to be in the springtime? Share it with us

This photo was taken while on vacation in Trinidad—it's a hibiscus flower swaying in the wind. I love the bright blue sky against the warm white clouds. I love nature—it's all natural, no posing.Have a favorite place to be outdoors? Share your photos with us

I took this picture when a friend and I were visiting Cedar Key. My car broke down and we had to spend the night because there was one mechanic and he had gone home. Ah! Nectar. The fruit trees on our ranch bloom for such a short time. I don't get to enjoy them too much, so my daughter and I set out to get some pictures. The bee was a bonus!Where's your favorite place outdoors? Share it with us
