Marianne Williamson
The Secret is a movie and a book created by Australian Rhonda Byrne that has sparked thoughts from conversations to controversy. In the movie, leading philosophers, authors and scientists explore the law of attraction, also referred to as "the great secret of the universe," or simply The Secret.

The concept of The Secret states that like attracts like, which means that the energy you put into the world—both good and bad—is what you get back. Proponents of The Secret say it is the key to everything from happiness and love to health and money, a claim which has ignited debates by people around the globe and raised a number of questions: What is The Secret and why is it popular today? Is the emphasis of The Secret too "me, me, me"? How does The Secret fit in with Christian principles?

In search of answers, Marianne speaks with her colleague of over 20 years, the Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith of the Agape Spiritual Center in Los Angeles. Michael is a teacher of The Secret Philosophy and one of the experts featured in the movie and book The Secret. Marianne and Michael discuss the origins of this teaching on spiritual awareness and its implications for people's lives.

Then, Marianne speaks with one woman whose struggle with infertility led her on a spiritual journey that opened her up to adoption. The discussion turns to the topic of international adoption and its spiritual implications on society.
