Halloween Safety Tips


Avoid burns.

The American Academy of Pediatrics says to use votive candles for pumpkins in order to avoid burns; give Halloween beggars colorful pencils, stickers, large erasers or decorative shoelaces rather than candy; watch for signs of tampering such as small pinholes in wrappers or loose packaging; don't give small children things on which they could choke such as gum, peanuts, hard candies or small toys.
