Alzheimer's Disease Treatments

 The Picture of Alzheimer's Treatment

With Alzheimer's disease, there is a mental decline called dementia, which affects memory, language, judgment, ability to pay attention and other thought processes. There are also personality changes: agitation, depression, hallucinations and delusions.

Though there is no cure for Alzheimer'sand no proven way to slow its progression. Medications may help improve mental function, depression and behavioral difficulties.

Just as importantly, caregivers can take steps to bring comfort and a sense of calm. They can also encourage a healthy, active lifestyle as much as possible.

As a reminder, always consult your doctor for medical advice and treatment before starting any program.
