Older Teens

The service options for older teens are almost unlimited, Rabbi Shmuley says. "This is a time for teens to focus on where their passions are and direct energy toward a charity or group whose cause excites them," he says. A few of Rabbi Shmuley's suggestions include:
  • Working in a homeless shelter and helping distribute meals
  • Working behind the scenes in the business office
  • Volunteering for an adult literacy program
  • Getting involved in an environmental group
