Draper

Someone found Draper on the side of the road with a badly crushed leg. He'd been injured for so long, we had no choice but to amputate. Fortunately, Draper didn't skip a beat—he recovered so quickly. One of the first times I took him out when he was healing, I left the window of the truck cracked a couple inches. He jumped out and found the room I was meeting in.

Draper was my sidekick for a solid month, and then he was adopted—you'd be surprised at how easy it is to find a family to adopt a three-legged dog so long as he's mobile. Even with the missing leg, Draper's got a top speed of about 20 miles-per-hour.
