If you want to make the most of love, you need to do your homework! Try Dr. Laura Berman's weekly homework assignment, designed to help you improve your relationships—both in and out of bed.
We have to adjust to springing ahead this week...and resetting because of the hour we've lost. But use what we're gaining (a little more sunlight, warmer weather) as inspiration to put some time into your partner. Breathe a little fresh air into your routine.

At least once this week, schedule a one-hour session with your partner and use that time to stop everything around you. Bring each other into focus, make some summer travel plans, ask each other, "How are you?" and actually listen to the response. Connect. Meet for a beverage (even in your living room) and just talk. Put other demands aside and make your partner/relationship your only point of interest for this one hour.

Take advantage of each minute. Remember how to slow things down and take your time...with each other.
