"We get together, we have a great time," Dr. Schwartz says. "We adore each other, we respect each other, we have great sex, and that's it. It stays in that little category and it doesn't get out of it."
Of course, Dr. Schwartz says that a friend with benefits is not a substitute for a deep, loving relationship. It's also not right for everyone—you and your friend must be aware of the limits and boundaries of the relationship so as not to cause jealousy or forced love.
