If you want to make the most of love, you need to do your homework! Try Dr. Laura Berman's weekly homework assignment, designed to help you improve your relationships—both in and out of bed.
When was the last time you asked your partner, "Are you happy with our sex life?" or "How can I please you more?" or "Have you noticed that our sex life seems to have dwindled lately?"

Take some time this week to have a conversation about sex—outside of the bedroom and when you're not in the middle of getting busy! Focus on making it a productive discussion and not a performance review. Keep it even-keeled, non-defensive, comfortable and honest. Be open to feedback (positive and otherwise), and remember the goal is to reach a place of mutual pleasure.

If you need some more tips on how to talk about sex with your partner, try these conversation starters, excerpted from Dr. Berman's The Book of Love.
