Allow yourselves to let go of everything that's pulling at you—work, the kids, family commitments, the house, the car, bills—and just have a good time together. If your conversations seem to always revolve around something you have
to do to get through the day or week, it's definitely time to regroup. And it's okay to keep things simple. Having fun doesn't need to be an elaborate event or activity. Here are a few suggestions:
- Curl up on the couch together
- Watch a movie
- Play a silly game
- Have a backyard barbecue in the snow
- Stage a talent contest in your living room (or better yet, the bedroom)
You get the idea! Just carve out some time to do something you both enjoy. Laugh and have fun together.
