Rabbi Shmuley Boteach
When children see their parents fight and argue, it can be unnerving and unsettling to them because it brings negative energy in the home. "Kids can feel the infusion of that negative energy," Rabbi Shmuley says. "They can feel when their mom and dad are being pushed apart."

Stop exposing your children to conflict within the home, Rabbi Shmuley says. "Of all the things you can do to your children, fighting in front of them is one of the worst," he says. "It tells them that love is a lie."

Today's Shmuleyism
"Children who are raised with fighting and strife grow up to inhabit a world with conflict and war."
