Q: I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and I find it a lot more difficult to enjoy sex. I don't find myself attractive, and it is hard for me to get into sex. My husband tells me I'm attractive, but I can't seem to change the way I feel.

A: Our brain is our main sexual organ, so I understand where you are coming from, but this is a beautiful and amazing time in your life—you shouldn't feel unattractive!

Remember, this is a temporary state for your body; you will get your body back. Also, sex is really good for the baby, assuming your doctor has given you the green light. Sex gives the baby endorphins, gives the baby feel-good chemicals and creates a sense of closeness and oxytocin for you, which is good for the baby. To help you get into a sexual mode, play with some sex toys. Try using a vibrator—it will come in handy after you have the baby too!
